About Dr. Hudgins
I moved to Austin in 1990 from my home in south central Louisiana. I earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology as well as a master’s degree in counseling from St. Edward’s University in Austin. I completed my pre doctoral training at Ohio State University, and earned my doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio. I am fully licensed to practice psychology in the state of Texas.
I have worked and trained in various settings with diverse clients and treatment concerns including social services, community support groups, state hospital extended care programs, therapeutic residential treatment for children, foster care, departments of behavioral medicine and family medicine in a hospital setting, community counseling, family counseling, chronic pain programs, and university counseling centers.
